Getting Started in Car Dealership Tycoon

Claim a plot, bank codes, stock cheap displays, and drive before you touch hypercars.

Getting Started

Car Dealership Tycoon is a released Roblox game by Foxzie, live since 27 March 2018. You join a 15-player server, claim a dealership plot, and start earning cash from displays and driving while other players race, trade, and cruise the same map. This walkthrough is the first hour only. It assumes you have never finished a lot and have not unlocked trading.

Join and claim a plot

Open the Roblox experience and wait until the map finishes loading. You pick one of the starting Regular lots. Walk the green tycoon buttons on the floor. Those buttons buy walls, furniture, and display platforms. You do not need to finish the building in the first session. You do need at least one platform so a car can sit still and pay you.

If a plot is taken, switch servers. Public servers cap at 15 players, so empty lots are common outside peak hours. Your progress is saved to the account, not the server, so leaving and rejoining is safe.

Redeem codes before you spend

The fastest cash in the first ten minutes is not driving. It is codes. Open the cog at the top of the HUD, scroll to the box at the bottom of Settings, paste a code, and press +. The current fog update code is FOGISCOMING for 50,000 cash. Older cash codes and the occasional Foxzie Edition car still appear on the codes list. Step-by-step screenshots live on how to redeem codes. Check expired codes so you do not waste time on dead strings.

Redeem every working code before you buy a single shop car. That bankroll is what lets you fill platforms instead of staring at an empty lot.

Daily rewards and the 48-hour streak

Find Daily Rewards on the HUD and claim today’s tile. The calendar includes cash, kits, and cars. The well-known vehicle days are the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R, Mercedes-AMG E63 S, Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate, and Ferrari SF90 XX. If you already claimed a car on that day, later loops pay the cash value instead.

The streak breaks if you go more than 48 hours without claiming. You can pay 99 Robux to skip a day, but a new account should just log in. Do not skip a day to “rush” a hypercar you cannot afford to display yet.

Cheap display cars, not trophies

Platforms pay passive cash based on the car you park. A cheap shop car that you own is better than an empty pad. A free code car such as a Foxzie Edition Audi R8, if that code still works, is a fine first display. The starter cars page is the shopping list once codes are in the bank.

Do not buy a hypercar in hour one. You will lock hundreds of thousands of cash into one spawn while the rest of the lot sits empty, and you still will not have finished the building. Finish platforms first. Then buy the next cheapest car that actually raises the pad. The tier list is for later comparisons, not for a first-session splurge.

Drive for cash per mile

Spawn from the garage by clicking a car you own. WASD drives on PC. Space is the handbrake. Full controls cover mobile sticks, entering and exiting, and the cyan Auto Drive portal. Driving pays cash per mile. Any running car is income. You do not need a 200 mph machine to make the meter move.

Use the first drive to learn the city, the circuit, and the dealership loop. If a race vote pops, join it. Even a last-place finish is usually worth more than sitting in the lot with one pad. Details for every race type are on the races guide.

What the HUD is trying to tell you

Left side: races, inventory, and trade (trade stays locked until you finish a dealership or buy Trade Tokens). Top: Settings cog, shop, and season widgets. Bottom: dealership completion percent. That percent is the real first-week goal. Completing one Regular lot at 100% unlocks later lots and is the free way to unlock trading.

Daily challenges award stars. Spend stars in the challenge shop on cars and kits when you have a surplus, not when you are still missing walls. Deliveries pay when you spawn the requested vehicle and drop it at a marker. Both are extra, not the main first-hour loop.

Auto Drive can wait

The cyan portal at your dealership is Auto Drive, added 15 November 2025. An AI drives a whitelisted car on an oval with a 95 mph cap. A cash multiplier starts after 15 minutes. It is a good AFK tool once the lot is producing. It is a weak first-hour tool because you still need cars, platforms, and codes in place. Read the money guide before you park in the portal for an hour.

Codex, licensed cars, and Season 32

The Car Codex, added June 2026, is a brand index of the garage. Open it from the HUD, search a make, and see owned versus missing. Collection rewards exist for finishing a brand page. Licensed Zenvo (Aurora Agil, TSR-GT, TSR-GT Foxzie Edition) and Pagani are collector targets, not starter buys. The vehicles guide lists every obtain method. Ford vehicles left the game on 28 May 2025 after a copyright strike; do not follow old YouTube videos that tell you to buy a Mustang.

Season 32 is live as of September 2026. The latest patch added fog weather, a firetruck in the shop, a new limited, and a gamepass that lets you spawn up to three vehicles. None of those are required on day one. Track them on latest updates.

First-hour checklist

  1. Claim a Regular plot and buy the first platform buttons you can afford.
  2. Redeem every code on the codes hub.
  3. Claim Daily Rewards so the 48-hour streak starts.
  4. Park the cheapest owned cars on every open pad.
  5. Drive a lap of the city and join one race if a vote is up.
  6. Spend leftover cash on lot buttons, not on a display trophy.
  7. Log the Codex so you know what you already own.

When the first session ends, your next reads are how to make money and dealerships. Trading, limited hunting, and Hyper lots come after one Regular dealership is actually finished. If you want a face for the developer, see Foxzie. For Trello boards and Discord, use links.
