Limited Cars in Car Dealership Tycoon
Shop-limited, event, season, and bundle cars — plus OG Wrap, the two-week lock, and why RAP never sits still.
Limited cars are the part of Car Dealership Tycoon that turns a tycoon into a collector game. Foxzie has shipped shop windows, quests, season tracks, and rotating bundles since the 2018 launch, and the Trading Hub (added 30 November 2024) made those pieces a second economy. This page ranks how limiteds work, not a live token chart. Community RAP moves after every drop. Do not treat an old screenshot as a price.
If you still need platforms, read starter cars first. A limited you cannot display or trade is a wallpaper. The parent Tier List Hub explains why S-tier is mostly licensed hypers and rare events, while A-tier is often a boring shop earner. Pair this with trading before you click confirm.
Four limited types
Shop-limited cars appear in the limited shop for a window, usually buyable with cash, Robux, or both. After they leave, they may return later at about a 50 percent markup. Players who bought the original run receive an OG Wrap they can equip on that car. The wrap is a status flag, not a second vehicle, and OG Wraps cannot be traded. A later buyer can own the car and still lack the wrap. Exceptions exist (some returns were Robux-only, some prices jumped harder to keep exclusivity), so read the patch notes on latest update instead of assuming every rerun is identical.
Event cars come from quests, scavenger hunts, barn finds, or timed missions. Most events do not rerun. Monster Jam is the well-known exception: those trucks have come back with the show. If a quest car is sitting in the lobby this week, grind it while the tasks are live. The 4 July 2026 update is the recent reminder that an American limited can be a free quest car, not a Robux-only gate. Foxzie said so in the trailer comments; believe the in-game quest, not lobby rumors.
Season pass cars track the current trophy season. Season 32 is live as of early September 2026. Pass cars are easy to obtain during the season and easy to flood the hub with afterward, so they rarely hold S-tier trade value even when the model is a hyper. Keep them for display, Codex completion, or a race niche. Elite pass extras are cosmetics and extra cars, not a second trading ruleset.
Bundles rotate in the shop, sometimes daily, and can vanish for weeks. Bundle and gamepass cars were not tradable at launch. Customizations became tradable on 26 April 2025. Gamepass vehicles became tradable on 11 July 2025, which is the point of the video in the middle of this page. That change re-priced a lot of Robux garage fillers overnight. RAP on those cars is still a community estimate and still moves.
OG Wrap, museum, and copies
Original shop-limited buyers keep OG Wrap even if the car returns. You cannot trade the wrap off. You also cannot legitimately own two copies of the same vehicle except through trading — that is the whole point of the hub. Each copy stores its own customization, but trades reset some cosmetic state; read the trading guide before you assume wraps survive a swap.
The Limited Museum (via the platform selector) is where retired shop-limiteds live for display. Putting a rare car on a museum pad is a flex. Putting it on a money pad only makes sense if its display income actually competes. Many S-tier trades are mid earners. Use dealerships to decide whether the car belongs on a cash platform or in the museum.
The two-week trade lock
Since 27 September 2025, any vehicle obtained in the last two weeks cannot be traded until that timer ends. The lock applies to shop buys, quest rewards, season grants, and trades you just received. It exists to slow instant flip chains after a drop. If you buy a new limited on patch morning, you are holding it through the hype spike whether you like it or not. Plan cash around that. Do not promise a friend a same-day swap.
An 8 percent Trade Token tax (added 2 August 2025) also sits on token moves. Combined with the lock, it punishes panic selling more than it punishes collectors who wait. Trading Hub access still requires a completed dealership or purchased Trade Tokens. Finish a plot before you treat limiteds as a job.
How the community ranks them (S-D)
S: licensed hypers and true scarcity. Zenvo TSR-GT and Aurora Agil variants, Pagani limiteds, Bugatti Bolide-type limiteds, and old event cars that never came back. These are want-list items. Their token ranges on creator sheets disagree, and this wiki will not invent a peak-pay number for you.
A: recent shop-limiteds that still have demand, useful race-limiteds (drag specialists, RWD drift tools), and gamepass cars that kept a following after they became tradable. The Foxzie Edition Audi R8 from FOXZIER8 is A for owners because it was free and it displays; it is not a Zenvo.
B: current season cars, rotating bundles, and limiteds that look expensive but exist in bulk. Fine for Codex and pads. Weak as token storage.
C: expired event fillers you outgrew, duplicate-adjacent variants, and limiteds you only keep because the model is funny.
D: novelty pieces and leftover placeholders after brand removals. Drive them. Do not fund them with an S-tier swap.
What to do when a new limited drops
- Redeem new codes from the codes list (FOGISCOMING was the fog-week cash code) using how to redeem.
- Check whether the car is shop, quest, season, or bundle. Quest first if it is free.
- Look at pad income versus your current A-tier shop car. If the limited loses, museum it.
- Wait out the two-week lock before you price it. Early hub listings are theater.
- Watch Foxzie’s channels and the Updates Hub so you know if a rerun or OG Wrap is even possible.
For the current fog, firetruck, and three-spawn pass notes, use latest update. For who films the trailers and who talks RAP, use the Players Hub and Foxzie. Vehicle classes and shop filters sit on vehicles. If a video or Discord ping contradicts the in-game shop, trust the shop.
Limiteds are a long game in a title that has been online since 2018. Supply only shrinks when Foxzie refuses a rerun. Demand only shrinks when the lobby moves on. Rank the type, wait the lock, and keep your pads earning while the timer ticks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, cars, trading, and dealership progress.
What is OG Wrap in Car Dealership Tycoon?
A wrap granted to original shop-limited buyers. It can be equipped on that car, it does not trade, and later buyers of a rerun do not get it.
Can I trade a limited the day I buy it?
No. Vehicles obtained in the last two weeks are locked out of trading. Finish a dealership (or buy Trade Tokens) before you even see the hub.
Do event cars come back?
Usually no. Monster Jam is the main rerun. Shop-limiteds may return at about a 50 percent markup with OG Wrap reserved for original buyers.
Are gamepass cars tradable?
Yes, since 11 July 2025. That is why RAP on old Robux packs moved. Values are still community estimates and still change.
Should limiteds go on money platforms?
Only if their display income beats your shop A-tier. Otherwise park them in the Limited Museum and keep pads on earners. See dealerships.
